Scripture of the day: "Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, 'Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.' Jesus answered and said to him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.'"
John 3:1-3
Thought of the day: Nicodemus came to Jesus "by night". Maybe he was being secretive. Or maybe he and Jesus were busy. A late meeting might have been the only possibility. Nicodemus knew that Jesus was different ... He was "from God". Jesus told him, "Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus was a religious man. However, going to God's house, praying, giving, following the rituals, living by the rules, and doing his best were not enough. Jesus said, "You must be born again." John 3:7.
Challenge of the day: Before you do another thing, answer this one question: Are you sure that you have been born again? If you are not, you "cannot see the kingdom of God." That is what Jesus said. No other step is as eternally important. Click here: Gospel/911God to learn how to be born again. Don't delay. And if you are sure that you have been born again, share the saving message of Jesus with someone today.
