Scripture of the day: "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:17-18
Thought of the day: These verses do not state that there is no judgment. People are not universally saved out of the kindness of God's heart. Jesus came to save the world ... not to judge it. However, the person "who does not believe has been judged already". Believe what? Believe in the name of Jesus. Each person must take a step of faith by believing in Jesus. The Bible never mentions a judgment after death that determines if a person is allowed into Heaven. That judgment is on earth. The person who has not believed in Jesus is judged already.
Challenge of the day: Your friends without Jesus are on death row waiting for eternal punishment. Their only hope is in the saving message of Jesus. He has already paid their penalty. He bought their freedom with His blood. They must believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God to be saved. How can they believe if someone doesn't tell them about Jesus? Will you tell them? Use www.911God.org link as a tool to tell your friends about Jesus.
