Scripture of the day:  "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one." John 10:27-30

Thought of the day:  A father walked with his young son. The boy stumbled and fell. The father helped him stand and held his hand out with two fingers extended. Holding them tightly, the boy began walking ... but he stumbled and fell again. His grip had been too weak. The father stood him back up ... and this time he told the boy to make a fist. The father wrapped his big, strong hand around the boy's small fist. When the boy stumbled again, he did not fall. Why? It was because his father was holding on to him ... he was not holding on to his father.

Challenge of the day:  God is your all-powerful Father. Imagine His big, strong hand wrapped around you. Your security is in Him ... in His unlimited strength. He is holding on to you. You are not holding on to Him. Who is able to take you from the Father's hand? No one! Why? It is because He is greater than all others are. Are you stronger than God is? No! No one, not even you, can pull you out of your Father's all-powerful grip.
