Scripture of the day:  "He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house. For He has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by just so much as the builder of the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later; but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house--whose house we are" Hebrews 3:2-6

Thought of the day:  Have you been greeted on Sunday morning with the familiar words, "Welcome to the house of God"? That may be fine ... but it may distract you from an important fact. The true house of God is not built from bricks and sticks. It is built from flesh and blood. Christ is the corner stone ... the apostles and prophets are the foundation ... and "you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." Ephesians 2:19-22, 1 Peter 2:4-5.

Challenge of the day:  If a young boy throws a stone through a stained-glass window, will the house of God be repaired? I hope so. I am sure that the window will be repaired. But that doesn't answer my question. Will the boy be repaired? That is the real question.
